Founder’s Story

Meet Carrie, Founder of Mane Mentors, LLC

Hi! I’m Carrie. I am a lifelong horsewoman and forever student of my horses. I left a decade long corporate career to journey toward a more integrated path, combining my experience and love of horses with my desire to fill a need in my community. I have years of experience at therapeutic riding centers in Florida, California, and Texas, and I am online certified in alternative approaches in neurodiversity through The Horse Boy and Movement Method. I practice mindset and movement from the understanding of our nervous system through Holistic Biomechanics, and I have a Level II certification in Biodynamic Equine Craniosacral Bodywork.

I am most deeply rooted in Horsemanship, but I have spent years in many disciplines from Western Pleasure to Hunter Jumpers, Equitation, Trail Riding, Liberty, Rescue Rehabilitation, Starting my own horse, and now I pursue whatever brings me and my horses the most joy, ease, and connection.

Wife, mother to my animals, former insurance underwriter, native Floridian, recent inductee of The Tortured Poets Department, and on any good day, you can find me in the barn.
